One of my favorite 90's albums, To Bring Me Your Love is PJ Harvey's 4th release (or 1st solo album). Co-producing with Flood and ex-bandmate John Parish, Harvey fuses vibraphone fuzz and bluesy bass organ into a trip of modern blues alt-psychedelia- or rather, just something completely different.
Written in an isolated home she purchased in rural England, Harvey becomes a mythical siren of despair, weaving Devil's tales and Jesus taunts into her maniacal search for love and devotion.
The 2001 EU reissue is standard weight (120 gram) vinyl in a single-pocket jacket with printed inner sleeve.
This is the less expensive $16-$20 re-press of the 2001 Island label EU import currently on the market, not the new Universal 180 gram pressing that is being priced at $30-$35.
