unboxing vinyl

My initiation into Deftones territory comes by way of the beautiful white vinyl edition of Diamond Eyes.  This being their 7th studio album recorded but 6th released- their '08/'09 album titled Eros was put on hold due to bassist Chi Cheng being in a coma after a car accident- the bassist for this intentionally optimistic project is band friend Sergio Vega borrowed from Quicksand, whom filled in for Cheng on tour back in '99.

The limited vinyl edition is a single pocket jacket with printed insert containing lyrics and credits on the reverse, and a white sleeve for the disc.  Also contains a card with download code.

The iTunes version contains 3 bonus tracks from the Deluxe CD edition that are available for separate purchase- great to add onto the free downloads from this!

Cheng now remains in a semi-conscious state with slow improvement: OneLoveForChi.
