Another fantastic album by LaMontagne and his band.  Recorded at his home over two weeks, this record was geared towards a terrific live band sound. You'd have a hard time finding a critic that doesn't love this record from first spin.

Nice heavy stock gatefold, the front is completely embossed for a beautiful touch (back cover is not embossed).

The inside gate features photos and song credits, a printed insert features a band photo and lyrics on the reverse.

White die-cut sleeves hold two heavy vinyls. Very high quality under $20 ($17 here at Used Kids).

Also available exclusively with online purchase of vinyl, CD or MP3 editions is a 12"x18" litho from the Sony music store.

A Few Reviews:

L.A.Times: "LaMontagne’s voice is like sea salt caramel: smooth, thick and sticky, with a little bite." 3.5/4 stars.

NY Daily News: "Lamontagne creates intensity through a dark, slow brood. While most of the new CD holds to that strategy, the disc stands out by stressing country lilts over ones built on blues and soul." 5/5 stars

Slant Magazine: ".. the deeply textured arrangements on God Willin' & the Creek Don't Rise work perfectly with his distinctive vocal presence." 3.5/5 stars
