BecauseMusicMatters.com is giving a FREE copy of What Is Hip: Remix Project 1 with ANY purchase while supplies last.

Spend $150 or $3.99, get a free remix album!

I downloaded this album from iTunes a few years ago and have played it quite a bit, most of the mixes add a nice fresh flavor to some old 70's classics- none are drastic or over-long dance floor drones.

Amazon.com sells this on vinyl for $19.

1. Listen To The Music (DJ Malibu Mix) - The Doobie Brothers
2. Summer Breeze (Tsuper Tsunami Mix Philip Steir) - Seals & Crofts
3. Ventura Highway (Deepsky's Blizzard In L.A. Remix) - America
4. Midnight At The Oasis [Cuica Remix) - Maria Muldaur
5. Da Ya Think I'm Sexy (Remixed by Halou) - Rod Stewart
6. Whip It (Philip Steir Remix) - Devo
7. Rainy Night In Georgia (Boozoo Bajou's Georgia Dub) - Tony Joe White
8. Biggest Part Of Me (Soul Hooligan Remix) - Ambrosia
9. This Masquerade (Nightmares On Wax JJP Mix) - George Benson
10. Hello It's Me (Philip Steir Remix) Todd Rundgren - What Is Hip
11. What Is Hip? (T.O.P.R.M.X.) - Tower of Power
12. Dream Weaver (Supreme Beings Of Leisure Remix) - Gary Wright
13. Lotta Love (The Lotta Nic Mix) - Nicolette Larson
14. Express Yourself (Mocean Worker Remix) - Charles Wright & The Watts 103rd. Street Rhythm Band

My faves from the set are Dream Weaver, Do Ya Think I'm Sexy, Listen To The Music, Summer Breeze, Hello It's Me, Ventura Highway, and although it seems out of place here- Devo's Whip It.

UPDATE: Mine has arrived and it is an unsealed but brand new promo double LP. Very nice!
