Charles Bradley: No Time For Dreaming

Originally signed to Daptone Records in 2008, and releasing a couple of singles after session work with The Sugarman 3, Charles Bradley found some success with backing band The Bullets, then lead by Thomas Brenneck.  After Brenneck launched the Daptone imprint Dunham Records, and released an instrumental album with his new Menahan Street Band, he and Bradley began working on songs for Bradley's album.

After the hard luck past spelled out in his website bio, Charles Bradley's debut album, at age 67, lands at #48 in Rolling Stone's Top 50 Albums of 2011.

This is a standard weight disc in a die-cut inner sleeve, inside an old-school tip-on jacket. Included is a lyric sheet and download code that also features 2 bonus tracks not on the LP- covers of Neil Young's Heart of Gold, and Nirvana's Stay Away.
